Bridging Hearts Through Sensory Experiences
Bridges of Hope Farm Foundation believes in the transformational power of nature, animals, and community. We are a 501(c)(3) nonprofit based in Buckeye, Arizona, building a sensory-friendly farm where nonverbal autistic adults can experience dignity, purpose, and belonging—and where families find support instead of isolation.
Bridges of Hope Farm Foundation was born from a mother’s lived experience. Our founder, Leann, is a dedicated mom to an autistic adult with high support needs. Like so many caregivers, she knows what it’s like to spend years navigating systems, searching for resources, and hearing “no” more times than anyone should. That reality fueled a vision: a farm that offers more than a visit—a place where families feel understood and individuals of all abilities are seen for who they are, not what the world says they can’t do.
We’re creating a sensory-rich space where meaningful routines—like animal care, gentle responsibilities, and nature-based activities—help individuals build confidence, while caregivers build community with people who truly get it.
Inclusion: Creating a welcoming, sensory-friendly environment where everyone belongs.
Empathy: Honoring each person’s lived experience with compassion and respect.
Dignity & Purpose: Supporting meaningful responsibilities that build confidence and self-worth.
Education: Offering hands-on learning experiences that meet diverse needs and learning styles.
Community: Building connections that support and uplift families long after they leave the farm.

Leann — Founder & President
Leann’s journey as a special needs mom is the heart behind Bridges of Hope Farm Foundation. She is passionate about creating a space where families feel seen, supported, and welcomed—and where autistic individuals can experience dignity, purpose, and belonging through meaningful farm routines and sensory-rich experiences.
Brennan — Farm Care Team
Brennan is an important part of the heartbeat of our farm. He helps with animal care and daily routines, and he brings joy and personality to everything he does. When he’s not spending time with the animals, Brennan enjoys building Legos, playing with trains, and exploring the world of dinosaurs.
Greg — Builder & Farm Support
Greg brings hands-on skills and a steady commitment to helping build what families need. As a local business owner and a key part of our farm team, he helps maintain and improve the farm’s infrastructure to ensure the space continues to grow into a safe, welcoming environment.

Leann
Hello friends! I'm Leann, the founder of Bridges of Hope Farm.
As a mother of a special needs child, I've personally experienced the feelings of isolation and exclusion that many families face.
This inspired me to create a community where both children and adults with special needs can feel safe, accepted, and truly be themselves.
At Bridges of Hope Farm, we offer a sensory-friendly environment where individuals can connect with animals, engage in hands-on activities, and build lasting relationships.
Our mission is to bridge the gap of isolation by fostering a supportive community for all ages.

Greg
Meet Greg, the owner of a local trucking company and the invaluable handyman and builder at Bridges of Hope Farm. When he's not on the road, Greg dedicates his time to maintaining and enhancing our farm, ensuring that everything runs smoothly and safely. His dual expertise in logistics and hands-on craftsmanship exemplifies his commitment to our community and the well-being of our farm.
